SAMPLES OF SLITTING CUTTERS, RESHARPENING SERVICE IS AVAILABLE 3" DIA. CARBIDE SAWS This cutter is used to cut a groove on a 4140 steel part in massive production. Cutting depth .400", width .080". Key features of the saw: - 3" Diameter, 20 tooth - form relieved OD clearance to maintain same clearance angle after sharpening - .0003" tolerance on hub thickness, .0010" tolerance on cutting width - full radius tooth profile - TiCN PVD coating  3" DIA. CHAMFERING SAW This cutter is used to establish chamfers in the groove that is cut by the slotting saw above. It is made of solid carbide with TiCN coating too. It has been proven that both the slotting cutter and this chamfering saw are successful in providing a high precision machining as well as an optimum tool life.  10" DIA. CARBIDE SLITTING SAWS This cutter is used in the manifold for the automotive engines. It is a high efficiency massive production application. Material to cut is cast iron.
